About

I dreamed up this project with the desire to offer a place where work meets nature and one nourishes the other.

Fifteen years ago, I began to find the pace and noise of Parisian life unbearable and needed to reconnect with nature and animals.

I was working as an assistant director in the theater at the time, and at the same time, I started getting involved with a shelter for elderly animals in Normandy. For the first few years, I combined both: theater in Paris and animals in Normandy.

And after a 10-year career in theater where I had the chance to assist many directors such as Bernard Murat, Eric Emmanuel Schmidt, John Malkovich and many small English-speaking companies, my passion for old animals took over and I have devoted myself to it full-time for the last 13 years.

Then I wanted to rediscover this unique atmosphere of working with texts, of play, of artistic questioning, this search for beauty and to offer it to others in a calm environment, far from the noise and harshness of the city.

I know how essential it is to have a workplace that allows for total immersion but also a space of tranquility.

This is how the idea for Project 22 was born. A place to create, share, and recharge.

A space open to all disciplines: theater, dance, well-being, training, etc.

Or simply a cottage to enjoy the silence and nature.

Remained to:

- Find a house nestled in the heart of the countryside ✔

- Close to Paris and Rouen ✔

- Renovate an old stable into a large workroom called "The Theater" ✔

- Give the main house a new lease of life ✔

- Create this nice site to share ✔

Today everything is ready.

Looking forward to sharing it with you!
